Backstory:

  • When I graduated from Business school, I wasn’t expecting how many failures that came alongside starting a business.
  • Failure after failure with starting production, sanitization, marketing, manufacturing, bottling, and one after another continued piling high.
  • It started to get to me.
  • Here’s why:
  1. I started Rosabeth Mooon LLC to as a self-help company with the mission to impact everyone who wants to better their mind, body, and spirit.
  2. I started this company and the curation of my Articles, Blog, and Rosabeth Mooon Motivation channels as an expression of this goal.
  3. I started getting immediate support, then dropped off crickets…

And all I wanted to do was help people help themselves.

In a way without judgment, with a distinctive teaching style that allows the user to integrate the skincare, teachings & assignments to their lives.

So, then I began getting into a funk. I couldn’t find happiness in the company anymore. After over 5 years of learning, getting degrees, and training, for it to not work out and help others made me want to give up…

But I said no, I refuse to give up!

How I found my motivation again after almost giving up:

Tip #1: I reminded myself of my “WHY”.

  • Your why is an urge or feeling of an outcome so strong, that it penetrates all negative emotions and will motivate you.
  • EX of my why:
    • My why is to help others who felt like I did, and help their mind, bodies, and spirit feel better.
    • While creating accessible resources to impact as many people as possible because I didn’t have the access when I needed it.
    • Provide idiosyncrasy teachings to everyone to feel empowered in their choices.
  • My why that will always motivate me is why I haven’t given up.

Tip #2: Imagine who you are when you give up.

  • This is critical to understand.
  • If you gave up, you would never know what it’s like to be everything you ever wanted.
  • Instead, the feelings that you felt before you tried, will increase tremendously.
    • Sadness
    • Despair
    • Wasting Time
    • Wasting Life
    • Hopeless
    • Depressed
    • Anxious
  • …and so on.
